International Symposium on Tin-Based Perovskites 2026 (ISTP26)
November 6 to 8, 2026
ShanghaiTech University
ISTP26 aims to provide an international platform for fostering scientific exchange and building partnerships across disciplines and borders. The symposium will bring together leading researchers from around the world working on perovskite materials and devices, with a particular focus on tin-based perovskites, including pure tin and mixed tin–lead systems. Topics will include, but are not limited to, materials fabrication, characterization, fundamental mechanisms, and applications in solar cells, light-emitting diodes, detectors, and transistors.
In recent years, significant progress has been made in tin-based perovskite optoelectronic materials and devices, positioning them as promising candidates for energy and information technologies such as solar cells, light-emitting diodes, and transistors. With the rapid development of this field, the International Workshop on Lead-Free Perovskite Solar Cells has been successfully held online three times. Building on the success of these previous events and to further promote the advancement of tin-based perovskite research, International Symposium on Tin-Based Perovskites 2026 (ISTP26), i.e. The 4th International Workshop on Lead-Free Perovskite Solar Cells, will be held on site in Shanghai this November. The conference is hosted by ShanghaiTech University (School of Physical Science and Technology and Accounts of Materials Research).
The conference will feature invited talks by distinguished international and domestic scholars, as well as a poster presentation session. ISTP26 aims to highlight cutting-edge research in tin-based perovskites while promoting collaboration and communication among researchers, scholars, and experts worldwide.
We warmly invite you to join ISTP26. Registration is now open, and we look forward to welcoming you to Shanghai!

Accounts of Materials Research (AMR; Chinese title:《材料研究述评(英文)》; CN 31-2211/TQ) is a monthly journal sponsored by ShanghaiTech University and jointly published by ShanghaiTech University and the American Chemical Society (ACS). Launched in October 2020, the journal’s founding Editor-in-Chief is Professor Jiaxing Huang, formerly of Northwestern University and now at Westlake University. Its editorial board comprises 51 distinguished scientists from 15 countries, with international members accounting for more than 71% and women representing over one-third.
The journal primarily publishes critical reviews and forward-looking perspectives focused on the authors’ own research. It currently has an Impact Factor of 14.1 and a CiteScore of 22.7, ranking in Q1 in the JCR materials science and chemistry categories.
AMR has received support under both Phase I and Phase II of the China STM Journal Excellence Action Plan and has been repeatedly recognized as one of “China’s Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals.” It has also received honors including “Outstanding Examples of English-Language University Journals,” “Top 100 Science and Technology Journals in East China,” and “Shanghai’s Premier Journals.” In 2026, it was included in the World-Class Science and Technology Journals Directory.
