About the event
The "Second Conference on Two-Dimensional Correlated Physics" (2DCP-2025) focuses on the correlated effects in two-dimensional materials. It is jointly organized by the School of Physical Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University and the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Sciences at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The conference will be held from August 24 to 27, 2025, at ShanghaiTech University. The first conference, initiated by the International Center for Quantum Materials at Peking University in July 2024, was successfully held and attracted many top scholars from both China and abroad. It has become one of the most influential international conferences in the field held in China.
This conference will invite several top international and domestic scholars to give conference talks and will also feature a poster presentation session. The conference topics will cover:
Moiré superlattices
Spectroscopy/transport characterization
Strongly correlated phases: superconductivity, Mott insulators, Wigner crystals, etc.
Fractional quantum Hall effect
Integer and fractional quantum anomalous Hall effects
Orbital magnetism
Quantum geometry and quantum metric
The aim of this conference is to advance cutting-edge research in the field of two-dimensional materials and topological correlated phase of matter in two dimensions, and also foster collaboration and communication among global researchers, scholars, and experts.
