About the event
The ShanghaiTech University invites you to attend the Bridging Methodology and Medicine: Translational Statistics and Machine Learning, to be held at the ShanghaiTech University from July 18-July 20, 2026. This conference brings together statisticians, machine learning researchers, clinicians, and industry practitioners to advance data-driven medicine from theory to real-world impact. The event highlights methodological innovations that are reliable, interpretable, and clinically actionable—spanning clinical trial design and analysis, causal inference and real-world evidence, multi-omics and medical imaging, individualized risk prediction and treatment decision support, as well as robustness, fairness, privacy, and regulatory considerations. Participants will exchange ideas and build collaborations that accelerate the translation of statistical and ML advances into better biomedical research and patient care.
